Rules & Regulation

Please read this section very carefully. Any runner not adhering to any of the following rules is subject to disqualification or penalty.

  1. Qualification

    LEBARUN (THE EXERCISE)is open to man or woman 18 years of age by 2027 or older as of exercise activity day, who is in good health and can complete the exercise activity without getting lost.

    1. LEBARUN 2026 - 26,5 KM, +2603 m, 9 MOUNTAIN LEVEL, 200 FINISHER LEVEL, 9 HOURS, 100% SELF SUPPORT :
      1. In order to register, it is required runner has experice to have ITRA POINT 1 AND ITRA INDEX 260 MIN.
      2. It is required runner has NAVIGATION GPS SPORT WATCH with BRAND SUUNTO, GARMIN, COROS OR AMAZFIT.
      3. It is required runner has PERSONAL LIFE INSURANCE OR ACCIDENT INSURANCE.

    2. Organizer reserve exclusive rights to approve/deny registration, including the right to award dispensation (with careful consideration) for those that do not meet the qualification criterias.


    3. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION RULES

      Several sections of the course pass through national parks with designated sensitive wildlife areas inhabited by extinct animals and plants. We require everyone (runners) to be fully aware and follow these rules:

      1. Sleeping along the course is prohibited as it will have a large impact on the environment and may also mistakenly lead others to think that you require emergency medical assistance. Please manage your physical condition carefully and rest/sleep at the aid stations.
      2. You must stay on the trail at all times. There will be sections where runners will not be able to pass each other in order to protect the environment safety matters.
      3. Picking up or damaging plants, animals, fungi and rocks found along the course as well as within the overall area are prohibited.
      4. Short cutting is strictly prohibited due to potential damage to vegetation along the course. Please run along the designated course.
      5. Absolutely no littering along the course.
    4. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE & CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS

      1. If during the exercise activity, participant encounter another runner or staff member who is injured or sick and unable to move on their own, please give priority to assisting that person by telling to official for assistance.
      2. Theres is not Emergency and first aid tents staffed by a doctor and/or nurse will be located at pointed aid stations. Since a SELF SUPPORT SYSTEM, there isnt ant aid stations.
      3. Please note that, depending on the area, it may take a long period of time for help to reach participant.
      4. If participant receive emergency medical assistance from non official a rescue crew and/or non official doctor, please make sure that you get examined by a medical expert at a hospital after the exercise. Please contact the organizer centre to let them know of your condition after the medical examination.
      5. If participant drop out of the exercise activiry, participant can continuing walk by take a shorter path to the pick up point that will take you back to the finish line.
      6. Depending on your condition, an emergency evacuation may be required. This evacuation will be at the expense of the person being rescued. For all runners must be obtain adequate medic insurance during the exercise.
      7. In the case of an emergency, if you are unable to reach the nearest Medic aid station, pick up point or finish line, the committee will give assistance and cost will be borne by each runner.
    5. STATIONS & OUTSIDE SUPPORT

      1. Food and drink will not be provided as well Stations by ORGANISER. Each Runner has to manage by it self for his/her drink or food during the exercise. Organiser recommend to each runner has to have support crew during the LEBARUN EXERCISE.
      2. Outside support by family, friends, and particular crew are allowed.
      3. Non-registered runner may run alongside runner (pacers allowed) by self responsibility.
    6. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE DURING THE EXERCISE ACITIVITY

      1. In order to ensure exercise safety, organizer will not prepare and arrange for rescue and medical assistance during the exercise SO EACH RUNNER HAS TO HAVE 'PERSONAL INSURANCE'. However, each participant must recognize and understand that there are risks that may result in injuries and/or accidents associated with trail running. You are responsible for yourself and will be participating in this exercise at your own risk.
      2. THERE IS NOT ANY Emergency and first aid tents staffed by a doctor and/or nurse will be located at pointed aid stations.
      3. There isnt any Emergency rescues/procedures will be available to runners as well all those involved in the exercise (e.g. staff, supporters) and each runner has to be prepared by itself.
      4. Please note that, depending on the area, it may take a long period of time for help to reach you.
      5. Medical Examination or Medical Certificate has to be shown during BIB COLLECTION.
      6. If you drop out of the exercise activity. you can continuing walk by take a shorter path to the pick up point that will take you back to the finish line.
      7. Depending on your condition, an emergency evacuation may be required. This evacuation will be at the expense of the person being rescued. For all runners must be obtain adequate travel insurance coverage.
      8. In the case of an emergency, if you are unable to reach the nearest Medic aid station, pick up point or finish line, the committee will give assistance and the cost is responsibility by the runner.
    7. COURSE MARKERS

      1. The exercisecourse will be marked using marking tapes and signs. Dangerous areas up in the trails will be marked by ropes and patrolled by staff in order to reduce risk. (Note: Permission has been obtained from the appropriate land owners and property managers to put up temporary signs and marking tapes). Particpant must follow the route and must down load the organizer's file gpx and up loading the particular file gpx to particpant's GPX Watch, GPX devices or Mobile Phones, and print the course map out.
      2. There will be a "no-passing" section as well as other sections with specific rules/conditions. Please abide by these rules.
      3. Runners will be stopped at road intersections. Please follow the directions given by the organizer staff at these intersections.
      4. The above signs and markers will be set up just before the exercise activity and will be immediately removed after the exercise.
    8. DROPPING OUT OF THE LEBARUN EXERCISE ACTIVITY

      If you decide to drop out of the exercise, you must notify exercise staff. Please remove your exercise card / bib and and report to a exercise staff member so that Organizer Center can be notified. Once you have dropped out of the exercise, you will not be able to re-start. Remember to keep your exercise card with you as you will need it to retrieve your bags from the bag storage area.

      1. Droping Out Along The Course: If you are able to move on your own, please make your way to the closest aid station (either return to the aid station you just left or go the next aid station). If you are unable to move without assistance, please tell to your support crew / family crew and follow their instructions. It will take time to get help out to you if you are out on the exercise course. If you are not feeling well, it would be best to make your decision to drop out at an aid station.
    9. MANDATORY / OBLIGATORY and RECOMMENDED GEAR & EQUIPMENT

    10. PENALTY & DISQUALIFICATION

      1. The officials present on the course, and those in charge of different control and refreshment posts are authorized to uphold regulations and to immediately impose a penalty for non-respect, based on the following chart:

      2. The Exercise / Event Director has the authority, at any time, to overrule any rule or invent a new rule based on extenuating, unforeseen, and/or unusual circumstances and/or to maintain the integrity and fair play necessary for the successful completion, and continuation, of the exercise activity. The Exercise Director has ultimate authority in regards to all rules, their interpretation, and their enforcement.

    11. RUNNERS & ORGANIZATION RESPONSIBILITIES

      1. RUNNERS RESPONSIBILITIES:

        1. You understand the unique nature and requirements of competing in a trail running route. You will be running all day through mountainous terrain and have undertaken the necessary training to have trail running exercise.
        2. You will be responsible for yourself and have the ability to deal with any problems that may be encountered during the exercise.
        3. You are able to deal with, on your own without assistance, deteriorating weather conditions (low temperatures, strong winds and rain ) and other troubles expected when traveling across mountainous terrain.
        4. You are able to deal with extreme fatigue, internal organ and digestive problems, muscle pain, mild physical injuries and psychological problems on your own.
        5. You are fully aware that when participating in an outdoor activity such as this exercise, your safety depends on your own skills and abilities.
      2. ORGANIZATION RESPONSIBILITIES:

        1. Non-deliberate damage to property by participants (e.g. plants and animals, objects, trails, etc.)
        2. Marking and location of signs identifying the course.
    12. EXERCISE ACTIVITY CANCELLATION

      The organizer reserves the right to cancel or cut-short the exercise activity for the following reasons:

      1. The inability to ensure runner safety due to risks such as landslides and rockfalls along the course.
      2. Natural disasters (or declared warnings issued by the "BMKG-Badan Meteorologi dan Klimatologi dan Gempa) In such a case, the course cannot be changed to continue the exercise activity event, nor will the event be postponed to a later date.
      3. The decision as to whether or not the event will be canceled will be made on the day before the exercise activity event or on the day of the exercise activity. This will be communicated via the official website.
      4. In the event of an earthquake, hurricane/typhoon, flood, incidents, accidents and/or epidemics, the organizer reserves the right to make judgments and decisions regarding the shortening/canceling of the course, whether or not there will be refunds, the amount, and the method of communication.
    13. RUNNERS CANCELLATION

      The Entry Fee is not refundable and not transferable.
